Milo Martin is a retired Army First Sergeant with thirty-three years of continuous sobriety. He received a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of New Hampshire and Certificate of Graduate Studies at Harvard. A former paratrooper, air traffic controller, and auxiliary nuclear reactor operator, he was “in the room” when women first broke into these traditionally male roles. While serving in the army, he completed the Addiction Counselor Education Program at Boston University, and, as an additional duty to First Sergeant, served as a substance abuse and suicide prevention NCO. Now as an old, tired, bald, grumpy, and dumpy white guy, he shuffles between New Hampshire and Texas, going to meetings with his Irish Setter Madaline.
